We love LOVE CAPE TOWN, it’s a brilliant initiative of Cape Town Tourism and the City of Cape Town, an online portal for visitors and locals with an enormous following of about half a million folks on Facebook and tons on instagram.
They have a nifty What’s on calendar, which is definitely something to go by if you don’t want to miss out on anything in the Mother City. It’s such an amazing trick to have up one’s sleeve. If you want a million folk to rock up at your next garden party, you can even submit your event!
Personally speaking, it’s been a lifesaver when visitors are in town, who are keen to explore covering things to do, places to eat, where to stay etc. Sometimes you just can’t think of all the best places at the right time. It’s concise with maps, guides and clever tips on getting around town. But mostly we love their compilation of top list, like best fine dining, or 10 local gins or area cheat sheets. As we are tucked away in a side street away from the hustle and bustle of Cavendish, almost impossible to find if you’re not local, we were lucky enough to be spotted and featured in their top brunch spots.
